The world heard about thyroid cancer from #Fukushima this week, did you? It’s just what we’ve been talking about this whole time is all. Get caught up if you’re behind, step-by-step:
STEP 1 EDUCATE & SAFEGUARD
Nobody likes getting thyroid cancer, especially if it’s because of #FukushimaRadiation, that’s why this new lawsuit puts the onus on TEPCO again to pay up:
STEP 2 EVACUATE RECOVER #FUKUSHIMA NOW
Forests and streams in #FukushimaPrefecture are re-dispersing radiocesium all around the region all the time, if that’s not a cause for alarm for those living there I don’t know what is:
STEP 3 CONTROL & CONTAIN
Apparently the eighth(!) coolant leak of ‘ice wall’ calcium chloride at #FukushimaDaiichi is no cause for alarm, according to TEPCO. Why it keeps happening and we’re not being told about it, that’s the cause for alarm!
STEP 4 NUCLEAR POWER IS OVER
While the industry is peddling their “nuclear renaissance” shtick from 2008 in the media, the ever-present nuclear waste issue is getting the short shrift. Finding solutions for the most dangerous problem in the world, not easy!
